Toilet Overflow Prevention
Posted on Jan 8th, 2014
We have had multiple issues with toilets overflowing the past couple of years. We know the issue and It's a simple fix that Chris Neese can repair for $40 per toilet. He has fixed the problem on half of the toilets in the building but he estimates that there are about 50% of the toilets in the building that haven't been changed. It's not just the unit owners issue when a toilet overflows and goes unnoticed for a little while. The water travels to each floor below and can cause significant water damage in the units and hallway. If you are not sure if your parts have been replace just give him a call and he can let you know for sure.
We would like to have all of the defective toilet parts removed ASAP before we have another damaging flood. If you have not have your parts replaced, please contact Chris Neese at (919) 917- 8233 or a plumber of your choice. If you have not made arrangements to get the parts replaced by the end of the month, you will be contacted by Management.
If anyone is ever having any issues in their unit please don't hesitate to call/text/email Chris Neese since he is in the building everyday and is very familiar with the building. There have been countless occasions where folks have done this and he has been able to walk residents through something via text/phone or by stopping over to check it out himself.
Internet, phone, and Direct TV issues should still be submitted through the Maintenance Request process. His contact information is...
