Mark your calendar for the Third Annual Downtown Raleigh Restaurant Week scheduled for Monday, August 22-Sunday, August 28. This popular foodie event has now expanded to also feature beer and wine pairings at select venues. As always, participating restaurants will offer three-course prix fixe dinners for $20 or $30 per person, depending on the venue. For added value, select venues will also offer three-course beer or wine pairings available for an additional $10.
Among the mix of participating restaurants you will find a sampling of cuisines from around the world—Turkish, Japanese, Italian, Spanish, or Lebanese dishes, just to name a few. Whatever your preference, the Downtown Raleigh Restaurant Week is sure to deliver multi-course meals that satisfy your cravings.
Restaurants will offer prix fixe specials the week of Monday, August 22-Sunday, August 28 during their normal dinner hours. Although no tickets are required, reservations are strongly recommended (when applicable). For your convenience, online reservations can be made at more than half of the venues through OpenTable. These reservation links are available on the Restaurant Week website, www.DineDowntownRaleigh.com. Menus will be posted as they are submitted by participating venues and are subject to change upon product availability.
This year, Restaurant Week will also coincide with a special event at the Raleigh Downtown Farmers Market scheduled for Wednesday, August 24. During the Market, select restaurants will offer bite-sized samples from their menu. More details will be announced soon. The Raleigh Downtown Farmers Market is held from 10 am-2 pm on Wednesdays through October in City Plaza on Fayetteville Street.
